The A2 level refers to basic users of the language — those who can communicate in everyday situations using common expressions and simple vocabulary. It is important to remember that the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL) is a system that defines and explains the levels of oral and written expression and understanding for languages such as English. It consists of six levels, grouped into three main categories: A (basic user), B (independent user), and C (proficient user). Each category is further divided into two sublevels: 1 and 2.
